Subject: "Empowering God’s Children and Young People©" Safety Program
Date: October 16, 2022
The Empowering God’s Children and Young People© Safety Program of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles is dedicated to providing continued education to children and young people through classroom lessons and activities on ways to maintain their own personal safety. This program also highlights God’s love and desire for the health and safety of all His children.
The third year of this program, “Internet Safety” will be presented to our students during the month of October. The lesson focuses on the importance of being safe and being aware of the dangers that can be encountered while on the internet. Each lesson includes video presentations, classroom discussions, individual and group activities, as well as a “Take Home Activity” for students to complete with a parent or guardian.
Any parent or guardian who would like additional information regarding this program or who would like to review the materials may contact Lydia Park at (213) 531-7216 or via email at smkccdirectorlydia@gmail.com.
